"Andrea's House" Breaks Through
-
July 15, 2007
"Andrea's House" has just broken into the Broadjam general New Age charts, coming in at Number 9!!! The general New Age chart encompasses all of the New Age genres and subgenres and, subsequently, is much more difficult to break into. Meanwhile, "Andrea's House" has reached number 2 on the New Age/Neoclassical charts with "Cinderella Story" holding on to number 5 or 6.
This is quite a comeback for "Andrea's House" which had dropped off the charts for about a week or two. Now she's back and back with a vengeance apparently.
Anyway, I want to thank all of you for your continued support.
Update
-
July 9, 2007
It's been a while since I've posted any news and that's because, frankly, nothing much has been happening. However, I am still holding the #5 and 6 positions on the Broadjam.com New Age/Neoclassical charts with "Andrea's House" and "Cinderella Story" respectfully. They have remained in the charts since May when I first reported their entry.
As always, thank you for the support.

May 15, 2007
Well to give you a broadjam.com chart update, "Pavlov's Dog" is holding steady at #4, "A Jessica, Mi Amor" has dropped to #7 and "Andrea's House has reached #8. "Culture Of Convenience" has unfortunately dropped out of the top ten.
It seems that these charts change daily so keep checking out Broadjam to keep abreast of the latest developments.
Thank you for your support
Jasen.
"A Jessica, Mi Amor" Climbing The Charts
-
May 11, 2007
Hello All,
"A Jessica Mi Amor" has reached #4 on the broadjam.com New Age/Neoclassical charts. Meanwhile, "Culture of Convenience has slipped to the #9 position.
It's a great feeling to know that I'm gaining a lot of respect from my peers. For those of you who don't know, in order to receive this distinction, other musicians rate my work and grade the piece according to a set criteria. The scores are then counted up and musicians place according to thier final scores.
You can here both of these songs right here in the music section of the site.
Again, thank you for your support.

The Story Behind The Music
-
March 27, 2007
Since I'm an instrumental musician, of course there are no lyrics printed of my music. However, while I was doing the interview on 'Mad World,' Jake Wheat gave me the idea of giving a sort of behind the scenes point of view of what goes into making my music.
That being said, I wrote up little stories about how each song on this website came to life. If you're interested, just double click on the song name in the Music section of this site and you can find out the 'story behind the music.' I hope you enjoy it and, as always, thank you for your support.

For those of you who were not able to catch the Streetblast.com interview Sunday night don't worry. You can still hear the Ipod at the
WWW.blogtalkradio.com/madworld. The Ipod should stream automatically until the 15th, I think. After that you can find it in thier archives section.
Jake Wheat, the interviewer was very engaging and asked the sort of questions that one would expect from a professional interviewer. Thank you Jake. You're an important asset in the Independent music scene and we appreciate all that you do.
And thank all of you for your continued support.

RUNNER UP WINNER
-
February 12, 2007
I was just informed last night that selected songs from the "Culture Of Convenience" CD just won RUNNER UP positions on the well-respected song writing contest, SONG OF THE YEAR. Although only the winner and finalist positions are showcased on the website, songofthe year.com, this is still an impressive accomplishment and will hopefully kick some doors open for me in the business.
I have entered the same songs you can hear on this website in other contest and we will have to wait and see but cross your fingers and thank you for your continued support.
